Personalized lactation support in Portland, Oregon—so you can feel calm, capable, and connected during your feeding journey.

It all begins with community…

My passion for lactation began unexpectedly at a local hospital’s Community Breastfeeding Support Group. At the time, I was majoring in nutrition and looking for opportunities related to my field. What I discovered there changed the course of my career. I was deeply inspired by the strength of mothers working so hard to nourish their babies and quickly realized how instrumental both peer and professional support can be during this time.

As I continued my educational journey, I immersed myself in the field of lactation through coursework, shadowing lactation consultants, interning with WIC, and listening to the experiences of countless parents along the way. During this time, I began to envision a meaningful niche supporting the mother-baby dyad through both lactation care and perinatal nutrition education.

When I became pregnant with my first child, I committed fully to this path and set out to complete the formal education required to become a lactation consultant.

However, life brought an unexpected challenge. After my first child, I experienced secondary unexplained infertility and was unable to have another baby. This diagnosis rested heavily on my shoulders for years. I share this part of my story because, over time, it gave me a deeper understanding and compassion for parents navigating infertility. It is a journey no one asks to be part of.

Through this experience, I have had the privilege of connecting with many parents who have faced similar challenges. Supporting families who have endured infertility while welcoming their babies into the world is something I consider an incredible honor.

Today, I hold a Bachelor of Science in Nutrition and Dietetics and a Master of Public Health. I am a Registered Dietitian and an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant. I am passionate about providing compassionate, evidence-based support to families during this remarkable and transformative time in their lives.
